Spring CSA 2017
What's in Store!
Not sure what a CSA is? Please check out What is a CSA? in the menu for more info :)
This season we're offering an 8-week spring CSA share starting May 28th, the last Sunday of the month. Yes! We are doing a Sunday harvest/pick-up this year. This will finally give us the chance to be at some of our pick-up spots to see our customers and answer questions in person. Stoked!!
As always, we try our hardest to plan everything to go as smooth as possible, but nature really dictates how fast things will grow. In case things are slower than we'd like, there's a chance we will start harvesting the next week. We'll be able to gauge better as the first week gets closer and will email updates before we get going.
Our share averages around 9 different vegetables a week. Our share is typically ideal for a few people, a small family, or one REALLY hungry veggie lover.
While you don't get to choose what veggies you get each week, we can guarantee a lovely variety of culinary delights that will be fun and easy to incorporate into your week, plus a few lesser known veggies we hope you'll come to love.
CSA App + Info
Along with the share, we will also provide a page (updated weekly) with visuals and variety info so you're not left in the dark about things you're not familiar with or haven't seen before.
We are also experimenting with a CSA app that provides all this info + more-all accessible on your phone. The creation of the app was funded through Western SARE (Sustainable Ag. Research & Education). The person awarded the grant created an open source code app and made it available to farmers all over the country. We're excited to experiment with it! Stay tuned for more info!
What's in the Spring Share?
